Kyle & Co Report: 85% of Employers Use Interview Intel Tools, but Candidate Experience Flat

Kyle & Co, an HR and talent technology research firm, released 'The State of Interview Intelligence,' a study of 257 employers and 174 job seekers finding that while 85% of employers use interview intelligence tools, maturity in actually analyzing that data remains low — only 14% reach a level where interview data is analyzed or tied to performance outcomes. A sharp trust gap emerged: employers rated their interview process at NPS +48, while candidates who went through those same processes rated them at +3. The report, sponsored by Textio's Lavalier platform, argues that interview transcripts represent untapped business intelligence on role clarity, pay movement, and attrition drivers that most organizations discard. Recruiters and talent acquisition leaders may find the benchmark maturity model and the report's ten actionable recommendations useful for auditing and improving their own interview processes.
