About StaffingIntel

StaffingIntel is a free daily news and intelligence site for staffing agency owners, recruiters, and talent acquisition professionals. It tracks the stories that affect hiring demand, candidate supply, and the staffing business: layoffs, staffing-industry deals, labor-market data, compliance and visa policy, recruiting technology, and in-demand roles. Every story is free to read, and no account is required.

Where stories come from

StaffingIntel checks industry and business news sources several times a day, including HR Dive, TechCrunch, PR.com, PRWeb, and publisher feeds through NewsData.io. Labor-market indicators come from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED). Each source is reviewed against its terms of use before it's added, and every story links to the original article.

How stories are selected and written

StaffingIntel uses Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to read each incoming story and decide whether it matters to staffing and recruiting professionals. Stories make the cut when they cover staffing and recruiting news, layoffs at well-known companies, hiring surges and closures, labor-market and pay data, employment law and visa policy, staffing-company earnings and deals, in-demand roles, or public-sector staffing shortages. General tech and business news, small local agencies, executive pay, and career-advice pieces are left out. For each story that makes the cut, the AI writes an original headline, a short summary, a category, and an impact rating. The daily Market Snapshot is also AI-generated from the day's top stories.

Accuracy

Stories are published automatically, without human review before publication. AI summaries can contain mistakes, so check the original article linked on each story before relying on it.
