Around 90% of 2025 university graduates found employment within 12 months, while AI's impact has been more visible in job redesign than outright hiring reductions—6% of AI-adopting firms cut headcount versus 19% that redesigned roles. Employers are increasingly prioritizing demonstrated skills over qualifications alone, with 79.6% of vacancies not listing academic credentials as the primary consideration.
