iCIMS-Kyle & Co. Report: AI Deployment Gap Widens Between Top and Lagging Hiring Teams
NewsData.io · United States · Oct 28, 2026
A new 2026 Talent Transformation Yearbook from iCIMS and Kyle & Co., surveying 500 HR/talent leaders and 1,000 U.S. job seekers, finds that organizations deploying AI broadly across hiring workflows outperform peers on time-to-hire, quality of hire, and retention. While 45% of HR leaders rated their AI implementation highly successful—up from 17% in a 2025 SHRM survey—the average organization uses only about half of its purchased AI capabilities. Top performers ran an average of six of seven AI hiring capabilities versus two and a half among lower-performing teams. Recruiters should note that high-volume and frontline hiring capacity topped the 2027 priority list, and that candidate transparency around AI use remains a persistent gap that could affect candidate experience and compliance posture.
