USCIS Adjusts Immigration Fees for Asylum, TPS, EADs Effective Oct. 16
USCIS · United States · Sep 30, 2026
USCIS has announced inflation-adjusted fee increases for several immigration-related filings, effective October 16, 2026, per a Federal Register notice tied to H.R. 1. Key changes include the Annual Asylum Application Fee rising from $102 to $105, the Form I-765 Employment Authorization Document fee increasing from $560 to $570, and the Form I-821 Temporary Protected Status application fee moving from $510 to $520. Filings postmarked on or after October 16 without the updated fees will be rejected. Staffing firms and recruiters working with clients who sponsor or employ asylum, TPS, or parolee workers should notify those candidates and employers of the new fee schedule to avoid filing rejections.
