Private equity giant Thoma Bravo has made a strategic growth investment in Tanda (internationally known as Workforce.com), an all-in-one payroll, HR, and workforce management platform serving approximately 8,000 shift-based businesses globally across hospitality, retail, healthcare, and other frontline industries. The investment — Tanda's first outside capital since its 2012 founding — will fund product innovation including an AI roadmap and expansion into new markets. Tanda's co-founders will retain significant ownership and continue leading the company. The deal signals growing private equity confidence in workforce management software targeting the shift-based economy, a segment with direct relevance to staffing firms serving frontline and hourly workers.
