TASC Launches Acquisition Initiative Targeting Independent Employee Benefits Administrators
PRWeb (General Business) · United States · Sep 22, 2026
Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC), the nation's largest privately held third-party administrator of employee benefits, has announced a formal acquisition initiative aimed at independent TPAs, regional benefits administration firms, and specialty benefits administrators exploring succession planning or strategic partnerships. The initiative reflects accelerating consolidation in the employee benefits space, driven by technology consolidation, regulatory complexity, and succession challenges facing smaller operators. TASC, which has acquired more than 50 organizations over its history, is positioning itself as a family-owned alternative to PE-backed buyers. Staffing firms that manage benefits administration in-house or partner with independent TPAs should monitor this consolidation trend.
