RPOA Report: AI Adoption in RPO Outpacing Value Measurement and Commercial Model Adaptation
PRWeb (General Business) · United States · Sep 16, 2026
The Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association (RPOA) has released a 2026 white paper finding that AI has become a baseline expectation in RPO delivery — embedded across sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate engagement — but the industry has yet to resolve how to measure its value or reflect efficiency gains in commercial pricing. Key findings include that 67% of buyers claim they can articulate AI ROI while providers struggle to quantify recruiter effort reductions, and that RPO value is shifting from transactional activity to advisory and workforce intelligence capabilities. The report, drawing on a survey of 998 employers including 454 active RPO users, concludes that AI governance and measurable outcome demonstration are emerging as the true competitive differentiators for RPO providers. Findings will be presented at the RPOA Annual Conference in Chicago on October 18–20, 2026.
