RevOps Job Postings Outpace Available Talent, Creating Prolonged Open Roles
NewsData.io · United States · Sep 26, 2026
Revenue Operations has become one of the fastest-growing job categories in the U.S., with more than 174,000 open positions on ZipRecruiter and roles sitting unfilled for weeks or longer. The talent gap stems from RevOps requiring a rare combination of systems fluency, commercial judgment, and cross-functional collaboration — skills that rarely coexist in a single candidate. ZoomInfo tracking over 13 months (June 2025–July 2026) found some companies running simultaneous multi-continent searches for the same role without success. Recruiters and staffing firms specializing in GTM or sales-ops talent are well-positioned to capitalize, though sourcing will require creative pipelines and internal development strategies rather than relying on a deep external candidate pool.
