OpenAI has appointed Sandhya Devanathan, a longtime Meta executive who most recently served as VP for India and Southeast Asia, to a newly created senior leadership role covering Southeast Asia and Australia. She will oversee consumer growth, enterprise adoption, partnerships, operations, and regulatory engagement, starting in October and based in Singapore.
