Octopyd Debuts AI Candidate Evaluation Tool for Hiring Teams
NewsData.io · United States · Oct 13, 2026
Octopyd, a San Jose-based HR-tech startup, has launched Talent Review Arena, an AI-powered candidate evaluation product that converts hiring manager feedback into structured, explainable applicant rankings. The system uses an AI agent called Ivy to score candidates against a role-specific rubric that refines itself based on what hiring managers flag as strong or weak fits. The tool is aimed at employers handling high application volumes who struggle to align recruiters and managers on what a qualified candidate actually looks like. Staffing firms and in-house recruiting teams could use this type of adaptive AI screening layer to reduce manual resume review time and improve calibration consistency across roles.
