LinkedIn Launches Hiring Assistant 2 with Smarter Candidate Matching
HR Dive · United States · Oct 2, 2026
LinkedIn has released Hiring Assistant 2, an upgraded AI recruitment tool now available in the app featuring improved reasoning, memory, and personalization. The updated bot surfaces contextual candidate recommendations based on a recruiter's past hiring patterns, and adds receptivity signals, trust verifications, voice-based pre-screening, and expanded ATS integrations. More than 20,000 companies already use LinkedIn's agentic hiring solutions, and recruiters are reportedly four times more likely to contact candidates sourced by the tool versus traditional methods. Staffing firms and independent recruiters should evaluate whether the tool's improved match quality and workflow integrations can reduce sourcing time on high-volume or repeat-hire requisitions.
