Kroger to Cut ~3,000 Corporate Jobs Over Three Years Under New CEO

Kroger plans to eliminate more than a third of its roughly 8,200-person corporate workforce over the next three years, with new CEO Greg Foran citing the need for faster decision-making and leaner overhead. The cuts will not affect store or distribution employees. This follows nearly 1,000 corporate layoffs Kroger announced last year. Recruiters placing corporate finance, legal, HR, and operations professionals may see increased candidate flow from Kroger's Cincinnati headquarters and regional offices.
