iCIMS Unveils Intelligent Hiring Platform with New AI Hiring and Interview Scheduling Agents
NewsData.io · United States · Sep 1, 2026
iCIMS has announced its Intelligent Hiring Platform, a strategic evolution of its ATS built on 25 years of proprietary hiring data and billions of hiring interactions. The platform introduces two new AI agents — the iCIMS Hiring Agent, which brings candidate review and approval workflows into Microsoft Teams (available October), and the iCIMS Interview Scheduling Agent, which automates interview coordination end-to-end (expected by end of 2026). The launch positions iCIMS to compete on contextual hiring intelligence rather than general-purpose AI features, with CEO Marc Thompson arguing that depth of hiring data — not AI tooling alone — is the key differentiator. Recruiters and staffing firms using iCIMS as their ATS should expect meaningful workflow automation reducing administrative burden across hiring manager collaboration and scheduling.
