HireQuest Reports Q2 2026 Earnings, Cites Stabilizing Job Market and Recovering Temp Staffing Demand

HireQuest (Nasdaq: HQI) posted Q2 2026 franchise royalties of $7.6 million, up 4.1% year-over-year, with pro forma growth of 13.8% after adjusting for the MRINetwork Assets Divestiture completed January 1, 2026. Net income more than doubled to $2.7 million ($0.19 per diluted share) versus $1.1 million in Q2 2025, while Adjusted EBITDA rose to $4.6 million from $3.3 million. CEO Rick Hermanns attributed results to a stabilizing job market and recovering demand for temporary staffing services, with system-wide pro forma sales up 6.9% for the quarter. The company maintained its $0.06 quarterly dividend and reported approximately $41 million available under its credit facility.
