GSK is closing its Dresden, Germany vaccine manufacturing facility and consolidating operations at its Canadian plant as part of a broader $2.5 billion cost-cutting campaign announced in July. The closure will result in approximately 650 job losses. The move is part of CEO Luke Miels' initiative to simplify the organization and redirect capital toward late-stage pipeline development. GSK has not yet disclosed the total headcount impact of its wider savings push.
