Frontline Source Group Deploys AI Agent as Full Recruiter for First-Round Interviews
NewsData.io · United States · Oct 12, 2026
Dallas-based Frontline Source Group has expanded the role of its AI agent, Lexi Reed, from a chat assistant to a full AI recruiter responsible for conducting first-round phone interviews with candidates. The AI calls candidates directly, handles post-interview queries via email, and feeds results to human recruiters who retain all hiring decision authority. Frontline, which operates 32 offices nationwide, frames the move as a way to ensure more applicants receive a substantive interview without overloading its human recruiting staff. Staffing firms watching AI adoption in the recruitment workflow have a concrete operational model to benchmark against.
