Demco Automation Partners with Temple University on AI-Assisted Robotic Workforce Development Initiative
PRWeb (General Business) · United States · Aug 4, 2026
Pennsylvania-based Demco Automation has teamed with Temple University on a state-funded project to integrate AI into the redesign of robotic manufacturing cells, supported by a DCED grant and over $94,000 in equipment and mentorship from Demco. The initiative will train students through credit-bearing coursework and hands-on labs while helping smaller PA manufacturers reduce automation costs and engineering lead times. The program aims to build a scalable university-industry pipeline producing graduates ready for immediate placement in advanced manufacturing roles. Staffing firms serving manufacturing clients should note the growing institutional push to close the robotics and AI skills gap in the sector.
