Staffing firm Hire With Near released placement data showing Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil consistently topped the rankings for U.S. companies hiring remote talent in Latin America across both 2025 and the first half of 2026, together comprising 54–58% of all placements. Brazil moved into the top spot in H1 2026 with 21% of placements, driven largely by IT and engineering hiring, while Colombia and Argentina led in finance and accounting roles. Mexico ranked fourth in both periods at 9–12%, with hiring spreading across more countries over time. The data comes from over 2,000 placements across 20 countries and reflects growing U.S. corporate appetite for nearshore LatAm talent.
