Brilliant AI has officially launched as a unified hiring intelligence platform formed from three companies — Crosschq, ApplicantX, and Traitify — combining reference intelligence, candidate fraud/identity verification, and behavioral assessments into one continuously learning system trained on over 200 million hiring outcomes. The launch is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and the platform already serves more than 500 enterprise customers including Deloitte, McDonald's, and Marriott, with integrations across 40+ HR and talent systems. The platform introduces Brilliant MCP, a Model Context Protocol layer enabling AI agents to screen, interview, assess, and verify candidates within existing enterprise systems. The consolidation addresses growing concerns around AI-generated résumés and deepfake fraud, with Gartner projecting one in four applicants could be fake by 2028.
