Global private investment firm Ardian has acquired a majority stake in Pflegia, a Berlin-based AI-powered digital recruitment platform for healthcare professionals founded in 2019. Pflegia operates a reverse-recruiting model with a database of over 900,000 registered healthcare candidates and more than 10,000 care provider clients across Germany, currently placing around 1,000 healthcare professionals per month. The deal signals continued private equity appetite for tech-enabled healthcare staffing platforms in Europe.
